About me
My name is Amie and I’m an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) from Melbourne, Australia.
I love to cook and spend most of my time in the kitchen trying new things. I'm often accompanied by my furry child, who likes to supervise my cooking adventures. I'm also the eldest of three siblings, and as you can see from the picture - we've all taken quite different paths in our careers. My career journey has been all over the place - from the military to the police force, personal training, and sales. But it wasn’t until I embraced my passion for food and nutrition that I found my true calling - a career where I get to make a positive impact on people's lives every single day.
I’m passionate about helping others understand & apply nutrition advice that’s tailored to suit their needs. I believe that everyone deserves access to the knowledge and tools necessary to lead a healthy life - whatever that look like for them. My aim is to simplify the complexities of nutrition and guide you towards your health & wellbeing goals.
I’m not the “food police”, I’m not here to cut out all your favourite foods and overwhelm you with confusing scientific information. Instead, I strive to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you feel heard, understood and empowered.
